This course is a continuation of GER 101 and aims to help students develop the language and skills required for effective communication at the Basic level and raises their awareness of processes involved in learning to communicate. Phonology continues to be a core aspect of the course and focuses particularly on contrasting German and English. At the end of the course, each student is expected to present a topic of his/her interest.
