The student who wants to benefit from installment payment, should apply to any Akbank branch and make the “installment payment agreement” and open the Personal Credit Account (Okul Ailem Hesabı) before the fee payment day specified in the Academic Calendar. As you can make transactions from any branch of Akbank, we recommend that you apply to the Akbank Sabancı University Branch, which is located within the Sabancı University campus for faster transactions. For this, the following documents regarding the use of Akbank must be signed at the branch to be opened the account:
- "Retail Banking Services Agreement (BBHS)" (available in all Akbank branches)
- "A Written Engagement to be Attached to Retail Banking Services Agreement (BBHS)" (available in all Akbank branches)
- A copy of an official identity card
- Documents declaring income--latest pay slip for the stipendiary; wage and tax statement and trade record document for the self-employed; additional income declaration documents (e.g. rent contract for rental income)
According to this agreement, the first payment will be made in person to the 601 product coded Personal Credit Account with a credit limit. The installment amount will be automatically transferred to Sabancı University account on the last payment date. If the credit limit is not enough for the payment, Akbank will complete the installment by crediting the account owner with Arti Para Limit/Credit Limit.
You can inform Akbank officer to open 601 product coded Personal Credit Account (Okul Ailem Hesabı) in order to use installment plan. You can learn the installment amount from the clerk by giving student's number.
If your installment request is approved by the bank, the branch will determine Arti Para Limit/Credit Limit equal to term tuition fee.
You should pay first installment of the tuition fee usage fee to Okul Ailem Hesabı/Personal Credit Account by following payment dates and amounts specified at the payment tables. The installment will be sent by Akbank by using Arti Para Limit/Credit Limit if the Okul Ailem Hesabı/Personal Credit Account do not have the needed amount.
The payments done to Okul Ailem Hesabı/Personal Credit Account will be sent authomatically by Akbank on the due dates determined at the payment tables. You don't have to bring bank receipt. We kindly request that you should not pay the dormitory fee, dormitory deposit fee etc.. to the Okul Ailem Hesabı/Personal Credit Account.
In order to continue installment plan you should check the existing Okul Ailem Hesabı/Personal Credit Account and Arti Para Limiti / Credit limit (because of the debit and the interest rate applied) at the begining of each semester. You should also update any requirements, such as increasing the limit conferred to Akbank, and should pay first installment of the tuition fee to Okul Ailem Hesabı/Personal Credit Account by following payment dates and amounts specified in the payment tables. The installment will be sent by Akbank by using Arti Para/Credit if the Okul Ailem Hesabı/Personal Credit Account do not have the needed amount.
