Sabancı University Achieves Great Success in TÜBİTAK BİGG!

Sabancı University has achieved great success in TÜBİTAK's 1512 Technology Entrepreneurship Capital Support Program "Individual Young Entrepreneur" (BİGG). The program provides capital support of 900,000 TL to transform technology and innovation-focused business ideas into qualified business plans.

Sabancı University, through its intellectual property management company and TTO Inc., Sabancı University Inovent, is among the 37 executing organizations, working on selecting and training ventures that apply to the consortium of 147 institutions and directing them to TÜBİTAK referees.

According to the results of the 2023-1 program, 15 ventures directed by Sabancı University, 8 of them have been awarded the TÜBİTAK Excellence Seal and received a 900,000 TL investment award.

We congratulate the leaders of these eight ventures, our faculty members Mr. Adnan Kefal and Mr. Murat Kaya Yapıcı, our doctoral student Mr. Mehmet Sinan Tubcil, and our undergraduate student Bensu Gümüş, as well as the 34 Sabancı University members involved in the ventures that have been awarded investments. As Sabancı University, we congratulate those who contributed to this success, which is a tangible outcome of our vision as an entrepreneurial and innovative university.
