ENS 492 Graduation Project (Implementation)
Select Term:
The graduation project is completed over two semesters through ENS 491 and ENS 492. It involves the design and implementation of an engineering solution to an open-ended problem, using the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program. Projects are conducted in (preferably interdisciplinary) teams and require consideration of relevant constraints such as economic, environmental, societal, ethical, and sustainability factors, as well as the application of modern engineering practices. ENS 491 focuses on problem definition, analysis, and design, and includes workshops and case studies on engineering project development and design practices, carried out in interdisciplinary teams. ENS 492 emphasizes implementation, testing, and evaluation of the proposed solution. Students are expected to communicate their work effectively through written reports and oral presentations.
