This course introduces the student to an historical the origins of printing and typography to the postmodern/present day visual communication design. It aims to provide a conceptual and pictorial overview of significant stages in visual communication design activities. The designs of key periods will be discussed and investigated with respect to their social and economic impacts on the society.
