Presenting finance as an assessment of cash, risk/return, and value is the main theme of the course. Topics include use of accounting information for decision making & performance evaluation, financial statement & ratio analyses, financial planning, working-capital management, capital budgeting, risk-return relationship, capital structure, valuation of financial securities & firms, investment tools & techniques, risk management, and derivatives.
