This course is a continuation of MFIN 501 and resumes where MFIN 501 leaves. The course starts with the analysis of capital structure of firms, which involves comparing the cost of debt and equity financing. Other topics include payout policy, options and futures, risk management, mergers and acquisitions and financial distress.
