The course will focus on improving students' abilities in comprehending complex written and spoken text, including authentic material such as newspaper and magazine articles, songs, films and brief literary texts, and to produce creative written text as well as participate freely and easily in conversations. The students will be able to learn and use complex language structures and express themselves on a range of opinions, and emotions such as fears and hopes. The students are expected to make an oral and written presentation on an approved topic of their choice. Special attention will be given to several cultural aspects of Italy, according to students' needs and interests.
