This is a transition level course moving to a stronger academic focus in English language learning. The aim of this course is to help students further develop their language skills to be able to function effectively in a variety of written and spoken contexts in English. This is achieved through the use of content-based and on-line learning support materials which contribute to students' language knowledge as well as their knowledge of the world.
