Registration to Special Student
To be able to register to the university, please make sure that the following 2 steps are completed.
- After creating your Sabancı University user account, you must submit the required documents through the Student Information System to complete enrollment.
- Complete your tuition payment.
Student Resources Directorate
- All information related to your student number and registration (such as uploading required documents, student information form, payment, etc.), which you will use for all your student-related processes, will be sent to you via email in a registration information message. (The email will be sent to the address you used for your online application.)
- Using your student number, please visit https://www.sabanciuniv.edu/suaccountform and complete the account creation process. With your created username and password, log in to the Student Information System (bannerweb.sabanciuniv.edu), fill out the Student Information Form, and upload the required documents online.
- Since university registration procedures will be conducted online, students are not required to visit the University in person for registration.
You are required to upload the documents listed below via the Sabancı University Student Information System (bannerweb.sabanciuniv.edu) during the registration period. Registration will be conducted online; there is no need to visit the university for in-person registration.
Documents to be Uploaded Online:
1. Photograph: A recent color photograph taken from the front, sized 4.5 x 6 cm (must have been taken within the last six months, passport-style, with a white background). For upload, the photo width must be a minimum of 300 pixels and a maximum of 1000 pixels.
2.Student certification: An official document issued by the university confirming that the individual is enrolled as a student.
3.Transcript: A record of grades obtained from the higher education institution where the student is enrolled.

Pursuant to Article 22, Paragraph 4 of the “Regulation on Amendments to the Regulation on the Principles of Credit Transfer, Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer, Double Major, Minor, and Transfers Between Associate and Undergraduate Programs in Higher Education Institutions”; the following application principles apply to undergraduate students taking courses as special students in the Fall and Spring semesters. Graduate students are subject to per-course fees:
1- For undergraduate students who are enrolled to Foundation Universities:
- Students who are not registered for courses at their home university for the relevant semester, whether paying full or discounted tuition, will have 80% of the tuition fee they paid to their home university transferred by the home foundation university to Sabancı University (SU), where they will be taking courses as special students.If the amount collected from the home institution is less than the total per-course fee determined for the relevant semester at SU, the difference will be charged to the student.
- Students who are registered for courses at their home university for the relevant semester pay the per-course fee.
- Students who have full scholarships pay only the per-course fee.
2-Undergraduate students enrolled in state universities or universities abroad which are not listed in the ÖSYM guide pay per-course fees only.
3- Graduate students pay per-course fees for graduate courses.
4- Sabancı University graduates who are not enrolled in any SU diploma program but are registered at a different university, and who meet the above conditions, are eligible for a 50% discount on the special student tuition fee per course for courses offered in undergraduate and graduate programs. Graduates can benefit from this discount for a maximum of 2 courses in the Fall and Spring semesters of the same academic year, and for a maximum of 1 course in the Optional Summer School. Course applications from graduates are evaluated within the quota and specific requirements of the relevant program.”
Other Information Regarding Special Student Registration
- If students fail to complete the registration process or submit the required documents within the registration period, they will be considered as having waived their right to enroll at the University.
- Registrations of students with missing documents may be canceled even if the registration has been completed.
- Universities are authorized to take legal action against candidates who are found to have registered based on false statements.

IMPORTANT! Steps required to fill out the online Health Information Form:
First, the following blood tests should be performed at any private or public health institution:
Complete Blood Count
HBsAg
Anti-HBs
Anti-HBc IgG
Anti-HAV IgG
Anti-Measles IgG
Anti-Mumps IgG
Anti-Rubella IgG
A pulmonary X-ray should also be taken.
The chest X-ray report and blood test results should be sent to sbf@sabanciuniv.edu.[NKN1]
(This also applies to Sabancı University graduates who are continuing their studies.)
Please note that these health documents are not part of the registration documents and can be submitted after the tests are completed.
