This course builds upon the concepts and tools required for modeling business processes and introduced in OPIM 501. After a review of these concepts and tools, students get to use computer-based tools to design, re-design and edit business process models. The course also covers event-based simulation concepts and tools for analyzing real world like business processes. This includes building simulation models and statistical input and output data analysis that requires good knowledge of statistical concepts.
