Mahzaib Baloch (b. 1992, Quetta, Balochistan) is a visual artist based in Pakistan. Her work draws on the traditional crafts, visual languages and landscapes of Balochistan, and on how materials register time, weathering, growth and decay. During her stay at Sabancı University within the Gate 27 and Sabancı University Guest Programme collaboration, she is starting her first sustained research into moss, fungi and mycelium, working with scientists in the laboratory.
