REVIEWED 2025 - STUDENTS ACCESS TO DORMITORY ROOF STORAGE

 

The terms of use of dormitory roof storage in 2025 will be as follows:

 

Dates the Storage Will Be Open

 

Between May 29 and June 4
June      10 – 11 – 12 

5 July               – 6 July  

25 August       – 26 August

 

 

 

Times the Storage Will Be Open 

 

Between 09:00 and 12:00;

A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, B8, B9, B12

 

Between 13:00  and 16:40;

B1, B2, B3 (D1A), B4, B5 (D1B), 

B6, B7, B10, B11, B13

 

 

Storage Terms of Use:

 

Students can only leave their belongings in the storage room of the dormitory building in which they are registered.

Apart from the specified dates and times, dormitory roof storage will not be opened, belongings will not be delivered or received, and access will not be provided.

It is mandatory to fill out the “Dormitory Storage Belongings Delivery Form" during the delivery of items. Without this form, items will not be received or left at the dormitory roof storage.

It is mandatory to show a Sabanci University ID when delivering and receiving items.

Belongings left without permission and without filling out the "Dormitory Storage Belongings Delivery Form" will be immediately treated as waste.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: All items left at Dormitory Roof Storage must be taken no later than November 8, 2025 (Saturday). All items not taken by this date will be considered as waste.

 

For students who intend to receive carriage service;

 

Starting from May 29, 2025, you must make an appointment by calling the extension number 3770 between 09:00 - 16:30 and then make your payment via https://forms.sabanciuniv.edu/carriage-fee Even if you have a payment receipt, if you have not made an appointment, the storage service will not be provided. Cash payments will definitely not be accepted. Please stick to your appointment time.

 

Item Acceptance and Carriage Information

Each student can leave a total of 4 items.

The maximum number of items that will be accepted for each student is;

-  4 (four) pieces: Box / Suitcase / Bag   (A maximum of 4 items, if not including refrigerator or sofa)

-  1 (one) piece: Mini Refrigerator – empty and clean 

-  1 (one) piece: Single or Double Sofa – undamaged and in one piece 

 

No other type of items or materials will be accepted. 

 

Carriage Service Fees:

Optional, paid assistance is available for the carriage of items. Payment will be made across 3 separate categories:

  1. Box / Suitcase / Bag Carriage Fee
    • 200 TL / item
    • Students must select the number of items they will leave in this category.
  2. Mini Refrigerator Carriage Fee
    • 400 TL
    • Students leaving only a refrigerator in this category should make a single selection for payment. (Maximum 1 item)
  3. Single or Double Sofa Carriage Fee
    • 400 TL
    • Students leaving only a sofa in this category should make a single selection for payment. (Maximum 1 item)

 

- Please Note:

Payment must be made separately for each category.

The "per item" option (quantity selection) is only available for the Box / Suitcase / Bag category.

There is no quantity selection for refrigerator and sofa, as only one of each is accepted per student.

Students who will not be leaving a refrigerator or a sofa can use their 4-item allowance for boxes/suitcases/bags.
