POLS 502 Political Theory

A survey of the impact of dominant political theories
in the 19th and early 20th centuries viewed
as thematic constructions that have to be set in their
historical context to be fully understood. The
course shall focus both on political thought and on the
concomitant social/intellectual movements, the latter, in
turn breaking new ground for the emergence of
new political cultures.
