ME 562 Fundamentals of Transport Processes 3 Credits
This course aims to develop a detailed understanding of the mass and energy transport phenomena in chemical, biological and engineering processes at at introductory graduate level. Emphasis will be on energy and mass transport in solids and flows, multicomponent transport, the Maxwell-Stefan equations, state-of-the art advanced computational methods and tools used in the analysis of the transport processes.
