CONF 510 Third Party Roles in Peace Processes 3 Credits
This course will examine the role of various third parties in different stages of a conflict and peace processes, such as conflict prevention, peacemaking, and peacebuilding. The objectives of the course are to introduce the students to the concept of "third party intervention" and the range of third party roles and perspectives, to understand the different strategies and tactics used by third parties, and to discuss the effectiveness of their interventions.
