CONTENT

This course will provide the students with an overview to the scientific study of human memory. Topics that are covered include, but not limited to, memory systems and processes; such as encoding, forgetting; memory disorders and developmental approaches. Everyday applications of memory will also be explored.

OBJECTIVE

To teach our current knowledge of human memory.

LEARNING OUTCOME

At the end of the course the learner is expected to possess basic knowledge of the main characteristics and functions of human memory: short-term memory, long-term memory, learning, etc.
