Supply chain includes all the parties involved in the production of goods and/or services including suppliers, distributors, and customers. Supply chain management emphasizes the importance of coordination between these different partners in a supply chain. This course introduces the concepts and methods for successful supply chain management. Activies such as demand forecasting, production and inventory planning; purchasing and distribution planning are covered. The importance of coordination is demonstrated through case studies and simulations.
