Program
The SPS degree program was born out of a
recognition of the increasing significance of
cross-disciplinary studies in the social sciences.
The SPS program is organized around the combined
perspectives and analytical tools of Sociology,
Political Science, and International Relations, further
enriched and supported by History.
SPS students may opt for relatively disciplinary
concentrations (such as Sociology, Political Science,
International Relations, History) or choose more
interdisciplinary, thematic fields (such as political
movements, globalization, modern state, ethnic conflict,
Turkish history, Balkan and European Studies).
