ENS 208 Introduction to Industrial Engineering 3 Credits
Introduction to a set of decision problems that modern industrial engineers face in real-life and the tools and techniques employed to solve them. Linear programming formulations and solvers, heuristic methods, and randomness and variation in observations are covered through various problems and case studies in transportation and logistics, production planning, inventory control, and forecasting.
